Diocesan Official Appointments
Bishop Michael J. Bransfield has made public the following appointments:

Rev. Msgr. Kevin M. Quirk, J.C.D., J.V., is reappointed to the Office of the Judicial Vicar for a period of five years, effective immediately. This appointment is made in addition to his current assignments as assistant to the Diocesan Bishop and as rector of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling.

Father Paul A. Hudock is reappointed Priest-Secretary to the Diocesan Bishop for a period of one year and is reappointed director of the Office of Vocations, effective immediately.

Father D. Brian Shoda is appointed Diocesan Pilgrimage director, effective immediately. This appointment is made in addition to his current assignment as pastor of St. Leo Parish in Inwood.

Father John Chapin Engler, Jr. is appointed associate director of the Diocesan Pilgrimage, effective immediately. This appointment is made in addition to his current assignment as administrator of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in White Sulphur Springs and St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Ronceverte.

Father Christopher M. Turner is appointed administrator of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in New Martinsville with residence at the parish rectory, effective July 15.

Father Dean G. Borgmeyer is appointed chaplain of Council No. 3734 of the Knights of Columbus for the Fraternal Year 2010-2011, effective immediately. This appointment is made in addition to his current assignment as pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Weirton.

Father William A. Anderson is appointed chaplain of Clarksburg Council No. 872 of the Knights of Columbus for the Fraternal Year 2010-2011, effective immediately.

Sister Ellen Dunn, O.P., is reappointed to the Office of Delegate for Persons in Consecrated Life and confirmed as director of the Office of Women for a period of one year, effective immediately.

Mr. William G. Fisher, C.P.A., is reappointed to the Office of Financial Officer for the Diocese for a term of one year, effective July 1.
