The Susan Dew Hoff Memorial Clinic Inc. is a health and dental promotion and prevention Clinic designed to facilitate and coordinate access to health and dental services for those individuals who are uninsured or under insured working poor and /or elderly of Harrison County WV. Our Mission is to assist this population who do not currently seek health; and dental services due to financial burdens and link then to services or maintaining and/or improving their health status.

The clinic is neighbor helping neighbor. West Virginians are proud, hardworking individuals who find it difficult to admit they have a need. This is particularly true of our elderly and those who work yet cannot provide for their basic health and dental needs. Often they; are required to choose between medicine, health, dental services and survival. We change lives and employment opportunities for many of our clients. Even when we cannot meet the need, we share their plight by being compassionately present to them and note their importance and self-worth. If nothing else, they; know someone cares about them and is will to help and share daily living experiences.

The Clinic is organized around a network of interdisciplinary services where clinical assessment, work and financial findings are linked to service and preventive actions as a means to maintain and maximize the level of wellness and productivity in a cost efficient and just manner. The allows the individual to value work and lowers governmental and charitable subsidies, yet offers avenues to appropriate services and interaction with health professionals for health/dental promotion and prevention. The Clinic itself is without financial obligation on the; part of the individual, However, network members may require fee for service ( on a sliding scale) as determined by financial finding and deed. If the client can truly not afford these fees the clinic pays for essential direct services

We have a Harrison Harold House in West Milford, where volunteer professionals can come and stay while volunteering within the clinic
